Meet the Firstline doctors

Dr. Brian Hamway

Internal Medicine

Dr. Brian Hamway has over 22 years of experience delivering care at clinics and emergency rooms across the United States. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Ottawa before attending medical school at the same institution. After residency, Dr. Hamway went on to work as an in-house physician for companies including ABC, TimeWarner, the New York Stock Exchange and Goldman Sachs. Most recently, he spent four years as Medical Director of a San Francisco based urgent care center.

Dr. Mordechai Pavlovsky

Internal Medicine

Dr. Mordechai Pavlovsky is a board certified ER physician with a broad spectrum of experience – he’s done everything from stabilizing gunshot wounds in an ER in downtown Philadelphia, to providing compassionate and timely care to residents of San Francisco with less pressing ailments. After completing an internship in general surgery at UCSF, Dr. Pavlovsky decided to departed for cooler climates and rounded out his Emergency Medicine training at the Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. His interests extend beyond just clinical medicine to the healthcare system more broadly, and he obtained his Master’s in Public Health at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
